Redmond WA – May 31st, 2017
Next week during NANOG 70 – taking place from June 5 – 7 in Bellevue, Washington – XKL’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Len Bosack, will deliver a keynote address where he will analyze the role statistical multiplexing plays in networks and assess the likely trajectory it and other advances will take in the years to come. Mr. Bosack’s keynote is titled “Revisiting Statistical Multiplexing in Your Network” and will take place in the Grand Ballroom of the Hyatt Regency Bellevue on Monday, June 5, from 10:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. PDT.
“A key component to any network is the ability to aggregate traffic,” comments Mr. Bosack. “Making the most efficient use of the bandwidth available is a key factor of network topologies and any inefficacies could cost you time, money and resources. I look forward to an engaging discussion that explores how to leverage Layer 1 statistical multiplexing in your network.”

Mr. Bosack co-founded Cisco Systems in December of 1984 and is largely responsible for pioneering the widespread commercialization of local area network (LAN) technology to connect geographically disparate computers over a multiprotocol router system – a technology that was unheard of at the time. Over the years he has continued to apply his expertise when developing the innovative solutions seen today across XKL’s entire product suite.
