DXM3
Provides metro transport of 10 “3G” (Gigabit Ethernet, Fibre Channel 1/2G, OC48) services per 1U unit over dark fiber. Scalable to 40 total channels on a single dark fiber pair.
DXMh
Provides flexible metro transport of 6 “3G” (Gigabit Ethernet, Fibre Channel 1/2G, OC48) and 4 “10G” (10 Gigabit Ethernet, Fibre Channel 10G, OC192) services per 1U unit over dark fiber. Scalable to 40 total channels on a single dark fiber pair.
DXM10
Provides 100Gbps metro transport with 10 “10G” (10 Gigabit Ethernet, Fibre Channel 10G, OC192) services per 1U unit over dark fiber. Scalable to 40 total channels on a single dark fiber pair.
DBC
Allows scaling to 40 channels today (60 channels in the near future) on a single fiber pair by combining signals from up to 4 DXM systems, providing up to 400Gbps of transport.
DarkStar Band Combiners are available in 4-port and 6-port configurations. DBCs devices are used for single-path combination of bands on a point-to-point fiber topology. DBCd devices are used for dual-path combination of bands (east and west) on a ring or linear add/drop fiber topology.
DRA & DBA
Connect DXM optical transport systems with any mix of traffic, such as 1 and 10 Gigabit Ethernet, OC48/OC192, or Fibre Channel, separated by up to 2,000 km. Grow metro networks into regional networks easily and economically. Control with familiar command line interface and integrated management network using standard TCP/IP protocols. Rest easy with carrier-class redundancy and extreme reliability.
