University of Washington deploys DXMs
A picture of the University of Washington crew around one of the DXM units we just deployed:

You’ll notice there’s quite a bit of room left over in the rack. The DXM’s a bit different from the typical DWDM system when it comes to form-factor: 1U per 10 channels, as opposed to typically half-rack to full-rack installations.
UW uses these DXM systems to link a major datacenter off-campus to a campus computing center.
