XKL, located in Redmond, Washington, was founded and is currently led by Cisco Systems co-founder Len Bosack. Our mission is to bring fundamental change to worldwide telecommunications through value, ease of use, and reliability.


Len Bosack

XKL CEO Len Bosack has extensive experience in driving success throughout his career. From his research at Bell Labs, to his involvement in ARPANet, to founding industry giant Cisco systems, Len has constantly been involved in technology innovations which drive fundamental change.

Lloyd Embry

XKL COO Lloyd Embry’s experience includes service as an officer in the Navy and Naval Reserve; analytic assignments in the Offices of the Secretary of Defense and the Navy; project management at the Rand Corporation; postgraduate teaching; and private sector positions with TRW, Schlumberger, and Cisco Systems, where he was the first Chief Financial Officer. He holds a B.S. (Engineering) from the Naval Academy, an M.B.A. with High Distinction from Harvard Business School, and a Ph.D. (Policy Analysis) from the Rand Graduate School.
